The Third Space facilitates partnerships with people across different sectors. It allows people from different backgrounds to come together to share different perspectives on how to frame the issue, which leads to different kinds of solutions and actions.
This supports: an integrated approach guided by a shared vision of a more inclusive society; the key importance of prevention and early intervention; partnerships as the vehicle for delivery of health improvement; success being dependent on a range of organisations working collaboratively together with communities; and the need for people delivering services, especially those tasked to tackle the fundamental challenges in society, being engaged with the cultural life of society.
